The Profile Group, together with its subsidiary PlexCrown™ Fund Ratings, announce the fourthcoming release of the 2026 Unit Trust Award results, scheduled for 19 February 2026.

For nearly three decades, Profile has been a leading authority in fund performance measurement, providing trusted, independently calculated data that supports informed decision-making across the investment industry.

Unit trusts continue to form the backbone of many South African investment strategies, offering investors diversified access to both domestic and global markets. The 2026 annual awards follow the successful quarterly reviews published in March, June, and September 2025, culminating in the recognition of the top performers over 3 and 5 years to end December 2025.

This year, Profile will publish a dedicated media feature to highlight the award winners and their achievements. In line with industry trends and stakeholder preferences, no physical event will be held. Instead, winners will be able to download their official certificates directly from Profile's online platforms.

The awards will recognise excellence across:

• Straight performance measured over 3 years
• Risk-adjusted performance measured over 5 years

Covering both domestic and offshore funds across selected ASISA and offshore categories, as well as the prestigious Management Company of the Year awards.
