BROAD-BASED BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT TRANSACTION: FULFILMENT OF
ALL REMAINING CONDITIONS PRECEDENT

Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 20 May 2024 in relation to
Implats' conclusion of a transaction to increase broad-based black economic empowerment in the
South African platinum group metals sector through the implementation of a broad-based
empowerment transaction (the Empowerment Transaction) at both Impala Platinum Limited and
Impala Bafokeng Platinum Proprietary Limited.

Shareholders are advised that all the remaining conditions precedent have been fulfilled, and the
effective date of the Empowerment Transaction is 7 June 2024.
