The Profile Group announced today the launch of ShareMagic™ LITE, an entry-level version of the charting module of ProfileData's stock market analysis software.

The charting interface within ShareMagic™ has been widely praised by users and ProfileData received repeated requests for a low-cost charting module based on this interface. ShareMagic™ LITE offers a range of easy-to-use charting tools designed to meet the needs of most private investors while eliminating complexity.

ShareMagic™ LITE is shipped with a 10-year database of EoD time-series data which includes JSE stocks, JSE indices, international indices, precious metals, commodities, forex rates, RSA bond rates, unit trust prices and selected economic indicators. The database is automatically maintained by the ProfileData Download Service.

To avoid confusion the full ShareMagic™ application will be rebranded as ShareMagic™ PRO.
