PROFILE APPOINTS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS |

[JOHANNESBURG, TUESDAY 27 NOVEMBER 2007] The Profile Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Sibongile Masinga and Ms Antoinette Sedibe to the board of Profile Media (Pty) Ltd. Ms Masinga and Ms Sedibe will act as independent non-executive directors. Ms Sedibe is the Managing Director of Andisa Capital (Pty) Ltd and a director of Keaton Energy Holdings Ltd. Prior to joining Andisa Capital in 2003 Ms Sedibe was an executive director of Standard Risk and Treasury Management Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Standard Bank Group, which she joined in 1999 after heading up treasury at Polifin, a Sasol/AECI joint venture. Ms Sedibe, who started her career at Nedbank, has spent over 19 years in financial services and continues to advise large corporates on their financial markets exposure. Ms Masinga is the CEO of the Afropulse Group, a women-led investment and corporate advisory house. Prior to establishing Afropulse, Ms Masinga was Chief Operations Officer and head of Corporate Advisory at Africa Vukani Investments. Ms Masinga has spent over a decade in various positions in financial services, including consulting, corporate advisory and research. Ms Masinga was a financial specialist at DBSA and has held research analyst positions with Gensec Securities and Real Africa Durolink. She also gained merchant banking experience with Hill Samuel in London. In terms of its corporate governance principles, the Profile Group is committed to the principles of transparency, integrity and accountability. The appointment of Ms Masinga and Ms Sedibe to the board is in line with Profile's corporate governance objectives. [ENDS] |
